Zelen

There's a wind in the Vipava Valley strong enough to put trucks on their sides. The vines grow low and stubborn to survive it, and the wine that comes out is bright, sharp, and a little tense in the best way. Zelen grows there and basically nowhere else on earth, so nobody at the table will recognize it and everybody is going to ask. Cannonball by The Breeders lands the same: loud, strange, gone too soon, stuck in your head all night.
